Bansal said that he did not intend to sell the ring, but decided to apply this idea two years ago.Over the years, Bansal said, potential buyers have turned down offers for a ring made of 12,638 diamonds.The ring is called "Marigold - Welfare Ring". Earlier, it was reported that the world record belongs to a ring made of 7,801 diamonds found in India.
