September 27 has been declared the Day of Remembrance in Azerbaijan - ORDER

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the establishment of Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan. APA reports that the order reads: “In response to the next military aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan, which began on September 27, 2020, the people of Azerbaijan started the Patriotic War to liberate our occupied lands.
Our soldiers and officers, our civilians working in the rear, our people as a whole, who showed our determination and will, unity and solidarity as a fist, delivered crushing blows to the enemy. The enemy, who could not stand the victory march of the Azerbaijani Army, committed war crimes by resorting to provocations and targeting innocent civilians. Many of our compatriots were killed, disappeared, injured and lost their health. Our lands have been liberated from occupation at the cost of the blood and lives of our heroic martyrs, soldiers and officers, veterans. The history written by our victorious Army today is a solid foundation for Azerbaijan, which will develop and prosper even more tomorrow.
It is also an important factor in ensuring lasting and lasting peace, tranquility and security in the region. Azerbaijan always appreciates the bravery of its sons and daughters, respects the spirit of all our martyrs and honors their memory. Guided by Article 109, paragraph 32 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I decide: 1. To mark September 27 of each year as the Day of Remembrance in the Republic of Azerbaijan. 2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijani Republic to solve the questions following from this Order ".
