President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree amending the Law on the Establishment of Orders and Medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the establishment of orders and medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
According to the decree, servicemen and civilians of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, as well as central and local executive authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who participated in the Patriotic War for the liberation of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan with the medal "Participant of the Patriotic War" and contributed to the success of military operations. Public legal entities created by the President, as well as employees and civil servants of other state-owned legal entities who have made sacrifices on the front lines will be awarded.
Soldiers and civilians of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, as well as the central and local executive authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan for their selfless work, distinguished in the liberation of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and the protection of the state border with the medal "For services in the rear in the Patriotic War" , Public legal entities established by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as employees of other state-owned legal entities will be awarded.
