President Ilham Aliyev has approved the Regulations on the Brave Warrior Medal. According to the regulations, during the liberation of the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the medal "Brave Warrior", our troops successfully completed combat missions to capture strategically or especially important areas, destroying the main groups and equipment of the enemy in the air and on the ground.
Servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan distinguished for maintaining their combat capability shall be awarded. The "Brave Warrior" medal is worn on the left side of the chest, after the "For Courage" medal, if there are other orders and medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Brave Warrior Medal consists of an octagonal plate with a diameter of 38 mm, cast in bronze and painted in gold. On the front side of the medal, an octagonal plaque is contoured with a strip decorated with a decorative pattern.
Inside the contour there is a circular board contoured with outer and inner circles. Between the outer and inner circles, the words "Brave Warrior" are written along the upper arch, and national ornaments are depicted along the lower arch. Inside the inner circle is a composition consisting of two intersecting swords and shields. Two octagonal stars are engraved on the left and right sides of the composition. All elements and inscriptions are embossed. The back of the medal has a smooth surface, the series and number of the medal are engraved in the center. The medal is attached to a 37 mm x 24 mm pentagonal ribbon with two loops and loops. Two vertical white stripes, 4 mm wide, 3 mm apart from the left and right edges of the dark red ribbon, are depicted. The medal is accompanied by a 37 mm x 10 mm mold made of the same black ribbon with an element for fastening to the collar of the dress.
