A military parade will be held in Baku on the occasion of the historic victory of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the Great Patriotic War. According to military sources, the parade is scheduled for December 10 at Freedom Square. Retired colonel, military expert Shair Ramaldanov told Modern.az about the issue. He said he did not know the date of the parade.
"Currently, the personnel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are preparing for the parade, daily exercises are underway. The members of the Armed Forces who will take part in the parade are known. Mr. Supreme Commander-in-Chief announced the victory parade during a solemn military parade in Baku on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and said that we would bring a victory flag to Freedom Square. Therefore, the parade will definitely take place, but the exact date will be announced by the authorities. The colonel did not rule out that various types of equipment seized from Armenia as military booty during the Patriotic War will be demonstrated in a military parade:
"There will be a demonstration of equipment in the parade, but I can't say how many of which equipment will be demonstrated. I can only say that this parade will be distinguished by its grandeur, there will be no parade that will reach this parade. "
