Kalbajar region was handed over to Azerbaijan under the control of Russian peacekeepers.According to Gadin.Net, TASS reports that the Russian Defense Ministry issued a statement in this regard.
"During the handover of the Kalbajar region to the Azerbaijani side, the Russian peacekeeping force ensured the safe and organized evacuation of the civilian population," the statement said.The handover of Kalbajar was carried out in accordance with a joint statement signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nicole Pashkina on November 10.
