"The vaccination campaign against seasonal flu in Azerbaijan, which has been implemented since October 12, is coming to an end. Eighty percent of the flu vaccines distributed in Baku and the regions have already been used.
The statement came from Nazifa Mursalova, head of the Public Health and Sanitary-Epidemiological Surveillance Department of the Ministry of Health, at a virtual press conference dedicated to the World Antimicrobial Drug Awareness Week, Qadin.Net reports. According to him, most of the flu vaccines imported into the country were used to vaccinate the population:
"As expected, the flu vaccine has been used by health workers, children older than six months, pregnant women and adults with chronic respiratory problems. In addition to these people, people also apply to local companies to get seasonal flu vaccines. "There is great interest in free vaccinations in hospitals. The vaccines are of high quality, "he said.
