Azerbaijan has put Seyran Ohanyan on the international wanted list

Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies have announced a search for former Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan. A criminal case has been launched against him under Article 103 (genocide) of the Criminal Code, Gadin.Net reports. The presentation was considered on November 11 in the Baku Military Court. The presentation was granted by the court and Seyran Ohanyan was remanded in custody in absentia. An international search warrant has been issued for Ohanya. The 58-year-old former minister was born in Shusha. He was educated at the Baku Higher School of General Army Commanders.
Seyran Ohanyan was the Minister of Defense of Armenia in 2008-2016. He and his son were reportedly wounded in the recent fighting in Karabakh. In addition, former Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is preparing to expel his family from the country. According to Novosti Armenia, Mnatsakanyan appealed to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on November 20. It was stated that he decided to take her from Armenia to ensure the safety of his family. It should be noted that Mnatsakanyan was Armenia's permanent representative to the UN in 2014-2018. He served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia from May 12, 2018 to November 16, 2020.
