The deployment of a Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh has been completed.The statement came from Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, RIA Novosti reported."The Russian peacekeeping contingent has fully completed its deployment in Nagorno-Karabakh and has begun to fulfill its tasks," Shoigu said.The Defense Minister said that a total of 250 flights were flown, 1,960 troops and 552 vehicles were transported, and 23 observation posts were deployed. The Lachin corridor and the 28-kilometer section of the road to Khankendi have been completely cleared of explosives and injected equipment.
