A bill banning the sale of plastic bags and plastic kitchen utensils has been adopted

It is prohibited for entrepreneurs to import and sell plastic bags up to 15 microns thick, as well as plastic mixing rods, forks, knives, plates and cups intended for single use to consumers in production, trade, catering and service facilities.
According to Gadin.Net, this is reflected in the draft law "On Environmental Protection", which was discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis. It is proposed that the proposed provisions of the bill come into force on January 1, 2021 for plastic bags, and on July 1, 2021 for other disposable plastic mixing rods, forks, knives, plates and cups. After discussions, the bill was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
