Armenian President Armen Sargsyan called on the government and parliament to prepare for early parliamentary elections. This was reported by Sputnik Armenia. According to him, Armenia lost both on the battlefield and in the diplomatic arena. "Our wounded economy is burdened with great social problems. We cannot deny the reality and continue to live a normal life, "Sargsyan said. He said he had recently met with parliamentary and non-parliamentary forces, public groups and representatives of the diaspora. In all these meetings, a common opinion was voiced: the need for the resignation of the government or the termination of the powers of the Cabinet of Ministers and the holding of early parliamentary elections. The Armenian President said that the only way out of the situation as a result of meetings and consultations is to hold early parliamentary elections. Sargsyan called on the government and the ruling forces to objectively assess their potential and submit a roadmap for the constitutional process as soon as possible.
