Excavations at the Saqqara necropolis near Cairo, Egypt, have uncovered the largest archeological find of the year.This was reported by the Daily Mail, citing the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Ancient Monuments.We are talking about 100 sealed sarcophagi buried 2,500 years ago and about 40 statues immersed in golden water.
It is noted that valuable historical artifacts were found in the necropolis of the pharaohs. Experts say that the finds belong to the pharaohs of the Ptolemaic dynasty, which ruled Egypt about 300 BC.
