In a conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed aspects of the implementation of the agreements on Nagorno-Karabakh.

It was noted that during the telephone conversation, they expressed satisfaction with the observance of the ceasefire and the calm situation on the line of contact. In his conversation with Ilham Aliyev, Putin noted that there were Christian churches and monasteries in the regions returned to the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the trilateral declaration. They stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of these shrines and the normal functioning of the church. He noted that the President of Azerbaijan accepted the issue with understanding and the Azerbaijani side will act on this basis.
