The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan instituted criminal proceedings under Articles 100.2 (aggressive warfare), 120.2.1 (premeditated murder by a criminal organization), 318.2 (illegal crossing of the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan) and other articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The investigation was initiated by the Prosecutor General's Office.
