President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree "On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan" On the establishment of orders and medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan "in connection with the establishment of the jubilee medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan" 140th anniversary of Azerbaijan Railways (1880 - 2020). AZERTAC reports that the decree reads: In connection with the application of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 174-VIQD of October 6, 2020, I decide:
1. To determine that: 1.1. The powers of the relevant executive authority provided for in Article 2 of the “Regulations on the Jubilee Medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan“ 140th Anniversary of Azerbaijan Railways (1880 - 2020) ”approved by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 174-VIQD of October 6, 2020 Implements by the President; 1.2. In Article 2 of this Regulation, “body (institution)” means “Azerbaijan Railways” Closed Joint-Stock Company. 2. To authorize the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Railways Closed Joint-Stock Company to award the 140th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Railways (1880-2020) with the Jubilee Medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 3.
