A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population on the measures to be taken in accordance with the instructions given by soldiers and officers killed in the Great Patriotic War to provide constant support to family members and war invalids. Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev said that in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, all measures will be taken to improve the material and living conditions of the families of martyrs and war invalids, as well as to address employment issues. Babayev noted that the families of people killed in the Great Patriotic War and people with disabilities in the war will be provided with apartments and private houses, as well as cars for war invalids. The meeting discussed the work to be done to implement new social support measures for the families of martyrs and invalids of the Great Patriotic War, as well as civilians affected by the Armenian terror in the following other areas and gave relevant instructions: • Further expansion of the establishment of small businesses of martyrs' families, war invalids and other participants in the self-employment program by involving them in the program;
• Provide all relevant support to make the targeted social assistance program more accessible to the families of martyrs and war invalids, taking into account their financial situation;
• Prompt solution of employment issues of unemployed and job-seeking citizens from martyrs' families and war invalids, war veterans, offering them jobs in the vacancy database, establishing close cooperation with social partners in this field, DOST Job Center also provides suitable vacancies for them. submission;
• Preparation of proposals for incentives for employers in order to promote the employment of martyrs' families, war invalids and other participants in this field, the application of the program of co-financing of salaries in this direction;
• Extensive coverage of war invalids with rehabilitation services after treatment courses, and the full operation of rehabilitation facilities built in accordance with modern requirements in recent years;
• In accordance with the relevant Order of the President, start production of functional prostheses and bioprostheses for war invalids in the high-tech prosthesis production workshop established at the Prosthetic and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry;
• Operational implementation of work to provide war invalids with rehabilitation aids;
• Provide social support to civilians affected by Armenian terror, support their self-employment program for the restoration of small businesses damaged by terrorism, as well as the purchase of animals for civilians killed by Armenian terror as part of the self-employment program, etc. At the meeting, it was decided to establish working groups to organize social support measures in these areas and to monitor the operational and quality of this work.
