Wounded soldier in Shusha: "My life is a sacrifice to the motherland"

Elvin Rasulov is a participant in the Second Karabakh War, which the Azerbaijani Army won in 44 days. He was born in 1998 in the village of Mijan, Ismayilli region. Elvin Rasulov, who has a higher education, was called up for military service by the Ismayilli branch of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription three months ago.
The Upper Shirvan bureau of the Report reports that Elvin Rasulov, despite being wounded several times during the fighting, voluntarily went to the battle zone after receiving outpatient care each time. He said that it was his long-standing dream to take part in the battles for the liberation of Azerbaijani lands: “Thankfully, my dream came true. Although I was wounded several times during the fighting, I received outpatient treatment at a military hospital. Each time, doctors warned that if left untreated, wounds could cause complications. But I could not stay in the hospital while the battle was going on. So I volunteered for military service. The mine exploded a few meters away when I removed the body of my comrade-in-arms, who was killed in the last battle for the city of Shusha. Although I was wounded in the head and left leg, I tried to drive my martyred comrade away from the area by tying a rope around my waist. I prevented bleeding by squeezing my injured leg tightly from the calf. The commander saw that I was wounded and ordered the soldiers to take me and my comrade-in-arms to the military hospital. I was taken to a military hospital. I thank the doctors for treating me like the apple of my eye.
I am currently continuing my examination. Our doctors will examine my leg and it will not need to be amputated. If necessary, my life is a sacrifice to the Motherland. " The mother of our wounded soldier says that she is proud of her son: “As a mother of a soldier, I prepared myself for everything. Thankfully, my son is with me today. I wish patience to all the mothers of martyrs. " It should be noted that Ismayilli residents visit the meeting of our wounded soldier every day. Shafagat Rasulov, Elvin's former class teacher, says he was a patriotic, brave and courageous boy during his school years: “I am proud that our students do what we cannot do on the front. They are liberating our occupied holy lands. May there be such brave sons. Long live the Azerbaijani Soldier! ”
