In October 2020, the consumer price index for food, beverages and tobacco products amounted to 100.3% compared to the previous month. According to the State Statistics Committee, this figure was 104.4 percent compared to October last year. That is, the current price of these products rose by 0.3 percent compared to last month, and by 4.4 percent compared to October last year.

There were no significant changes in the prices of other food products. In October 2020, the consumer price index for non-food products amounted to 100.1% compared to the previous month and 101.4% compared to October of the previous year. In other words, non-food prices rose by 0.1 percent compared to last month and by 1.4 percent compared to October last year. In October 2020, the consumer price index for paid services provided to the population amounted to 100 percent compared to the previous month and 100.3 percent compared to October of the previous year. Thus, the cost of services provided to the population remained stable compared to last month, but increased by 0.3% compared to October last year.
