WARNING from the Ministry about the next "trap"

The Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has registered another "phishing" campaign against our social network users. The statement came from the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies. Thus, fake ads are posted on Facebook, Instagram and other social networks under the heading "An announcement that will forever change the citizens of Azerbaijan." The goal is to "trap" users by attracting their attention and encouraging them to access malicious links.
Thus, the user who enters the link in the ad (sites.google.com) is asked to fill out a questionnaire, and the user who fills out the questionnaire is redirected to malicious sites. When accessing these sites, "malware" (adware) is downloaded to the user's device and the device is infected. These programs then collect the user's personal information and pass it on to the cybercriminal. Citizens are asked to be extremely careful on social media, not to switch to fake ads in the form of "pop-up" menus, and to complain by clicking on the three dots (...) in the right corner of the ad. Also, in case of such cases, they should apply to the Electronic Security Service via www.cert.az or [email protected].
