After the President of Azerbaijan, Muzaffar Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev announced our glorious victory and capitulation of Armenia tonight, thousands of residents of the capital flocked to the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate the heroic sons of the Fatherland who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for sovereignty and territorial integrity. In the morning, people from the regions joined the crowd. The marchers, carrying portraits of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief and waving our tricolor flag, chanted slogans such as "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!", "Martyrs will not die, the homeland will not be divided", "Long live the Supreme Commander-in-Chief". Baku TV studied the thoughts of our people in the Alley of Martyrs, which is considered sacred by our people:
