Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan began his speech at the event organized by the AKP with congratulations on the liberation of the occupied city of Shusha by the Azerbaijani army. This was reported by Haber Global. "I would like to begin by congratulating our Azerbaijani brothers on their victory in Shusha, who are fighting to save Nagorno-Karabakh and seven surrounding regions occupied by Armenia. "Our Azerbaijani Turkish brothers, who have been neglected and deceived by the Minsk Troika for 30 years, and who have been waiting at the table for 30 years with an unknown fate, have persevered and won," he said. He stressed that Turkey has unconditionally stood by Azerbaijan in the struggle to save the occupied territories for 30 years.
"The joy of our Azerbaijani brothers, who liberated the occupied cities and Karabakh after the conflicts that began with the Armenian aggression, is also our joy. "The liberation of Shusha is also an echo of the liberation of the rest of the occupied territories," he added.
