Change in the rules related to targeted social assistance - DECISION

Amendments have been made to the "Rules for applying for, receiving, granting and refusing to provide targeted state social assistance." The Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision on this.

Thus, according to the amendments to the Law on Targeted State Social Assistance, social assistance is granted for a period of one year from the 1st of the month in which it is applied for. Prior to the change, this period was set at two years. When applying for social assistance, the family should provide full and accurate information on the circumstances that may lead to the appointment or change of social assistance, and in the event of a change in income after the appointment of social assistance, the family receiving social assistance should inform the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. The deadline was 15 working days. If this information is found to be incorrect, the family loses the right to receive social assistance for a period of one year. According to the amendments, the limit for household utilities per capita will be increased from 10% to 15%, credit will not be taken into account in calculating the average monthly income of the family, as well as references on relevant information will be taken into account
