Armenian activist Georgi Vanyan addressed an appeal to Prime Minister Nicole Pashkina. In a Facebook post, he said Armenia should put aside its embarrassing hopes of charity from the international community:
"The Republic of Armenia has long exceeded the crimes committed against its citizens. Stop this criminal nonsense of victory: the neighbor will not be defeated, the neighbor will not be trampled, the neighbor will not be destroyed. It is necessary to talk to the neighbor, to find a common language, to talk until mutual understanding. The destruction of each other by the neighbors leads to the destruction of the parties themselves. Forget the criminal lie about the "strategic ally" rescue force, and give it up. Forget the search for an ally in the face of this ongoing massacre, and put aside the hope of shameful charity from the international community. Put an end to inaction, repel the criminal inertia of nationalist taboos. In the last 30 years, especially today, we can and do have an ally, this ally is neighboring Azerbaijan. Speak, look at your colleague's face without fear. "
