Hikmet Hajiyev: "There is no need for Azerbaijani intervention to expose false information spread by Armenia"

Armenia and the so-called regime are spreading a lot of false and misleading information. As a result, there is no need for the intervention of the Azerbaijani side to expose such false information. Aide to the President, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev told the media. He noted that the photo of the Armenian Defense Minister with the Armenian servicemen in the military uniform of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan overturned the fake campaign of Armenia against the mercenaries:

"While the Armenian Defense Ministry and other agencies said they would provide information about the new mercenary, the Armenian Justice Ministry acknowledged that there was no third mercenary. Probably, they could not find a suitable person for the staged theater. In order to create artificial enthusiasm, Armenia also prepares fake battle scenes with the help of self-proclaimed bloggers. The information spread by the so-called regime about the killing of civilians in our liberated territories is another misinformation. One of the features that distinguishes Azerbaijan from Armenia is that Azerbaijan does not fight civilians. The Khojaly genocide, as a clear example of a crime against humanity, demonstrated the true nature of the political and military leadership of Armenia. Ethnic cleansing was committed against the Azerbaijani people in the territories occupied by Armenia on the basis of racial discrimination. The killing of civilians in Tartar, Ganja, Barda and other cities, including minors, by rocket attacks is a continuation of Armenia's policy of the Khojaly genocide.

The only variables are the tools used. One of the goals set in the doctrine of the Armenian armed forces and in combat training is to target the civilian population of Azerbaijan. Hajiyev added that the biggest threat to civilians living in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan is Armenia and the criminal junta regime: "It should not be ruled out that they will commit crimes against civilians and then blame Azerbaijan for it. We call on the Armenian civilian population living in our occupied territories to be vigilant and stay away from areas where military operations are taking place. All necessary assistance and support will be provided to civilians wishing to enter the territory controlled by Azerbaijan on the basis of the principles of international humanism.
