A criminal case has been launched against those who broadcast videos from the war zone - OFFICIAL

As a result of the successful counter-offensive operations of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan against the military provocations of the Armenian armed forces, which lasted since September 27, 2020, several regions, as well as strategically important areas were liberated from occupation. This was reported by the State Security Service.

It was noted that contrary to the measures taken by the relevant state bodies to protect state secrets and despite the relevant warnings, a number of individuals made unauthorized video recordings in the areas of hostilities using the technical capabilities of mobile phones. Various video materials were distributed, which allowed to obtain information about the personnel, weapons and military equipment, other combat equipment, operational conditions: "These videos were used by the enemy army to obtain information about the forces and positions of the troops of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as to carry out intelligence and sabotage activities. The State Security Service has launched a criminal case under Article 284 (disclosure of state secrets) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and an investigation is underway. Citizens are once again warned that the conduct and dissemination of unauthorized video footage from the active combat zone is a criminal offense, and we call on them to refrain from any behavior that threatens the life of an Azerbaijani soldier.
