The information spread by the Armenian side about the alleged shelling of the village of David Bek near the Armenian city of Gafan in the Gubadli region of Azerbaijan, which resulted in injuries and numerous casualties, is false and another provocation. During the day, the enemy intensively fired on the liberated villages of Gubadli region and units of the Azerbaijani Army, placing artillery firing points at a depth of 4-5 km in the Gubadli area of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.
Only within our borders, we have taken adequate measures against those enemy firing points. We reiterate that Azerbaijan has no military purpose in Armenia. The Azerbaijani Army is restoring the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan within the borders of our country recognized by the world community
