Today, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held telephone talks with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov from Russia, Andrew Schofer from the United States and Stefan Visconti from France. The statement came from the Press Service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the co-chairs about another gross violation of the humanitarian ceasefire by the Armenian armed forces. He stressed that the civilian population of Barda was purposefully targeted on October 27-28, 2020. The minister said that the Armenian armed forces treacherously attacked innocent civilians, including children and women, in cities far from the conflict zone.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also informed the co-chairs about the heavy casualties among the civilian population as a result of another war crime committed by Armenia. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov called on the co-chairs to condemn these inhumane acts against Azerbaijani civilians. The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs have expressed concern over the loss of civilian lives. They stressed the importance of reducing tensions in the region and resolving the conflict peacefully
