At the end of the 19th century, there were more mosques in Yerevan than in Baku.
This is confirmed by the notes in the book "Caucasian Calendar" kept in the Russian State Library.
Page 392 of the book, published in 1987, states that there were 269 mosques in Yerevan and 226 in Baku at that time.
This is another proof of the subsequent settlement of Armenians in Yerevan.
