The Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan has expressed its sorrow over the death of a Russian citizen who lost his life today as a result of a treacherous attack by the Armenian state on Ganja.
A statement posted on the embassy's Twitter account said:
Artur Vasilyevich Mayakov, a Russian citizen born in 2007, died at a hospital in Ganja on October 24 from a gunshot wound received on October 17 this year. The embassy keeps in touch with the family and friends of the deceased and offers them its deepest condolences.
