Terrorism and war crimes against Armenian civilians, especially children and adolescents, continue at the state level in Armenia.

The statement came from presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev.

He said that, according to the Prosecutor General's Office, Ismayilzade Orkhan Rahbar oglu, born in 2004, was killed today as a result of Smerch missiles fired at Tartar region and villages:

Mayakov Artur Vasilyevich (Ramiz oglu), a citizen of the Russian Federation, born in 2007, who was seriously wounded in the October 17 shelling of Ganja settlements by SCUD missiles, died at the hospital, despite the efforts of doctors. Mayakov Artur Vasilyevich visited Ganja with his aunt.

The deceased will be buried in accordance with Orthodox Christian traditions with the support of the Ganja City Executive Power and the Alexander Nevsky Church in Ganja. The Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan was informed about it through the Foreign Ministry.

Hajiyev said that the Armenian armed forces continue to fire on Azerbaijani cities on the frontline with heavy artillery and other weapons. He noted that unlike Armenia, Azerbaijan does not target civilians and civilian objects.

"Azerbaijan takes seriously the requirements established by international humanitarian law, such as military necessity, legitimate military goals and proportionality of response measures," he said. As noted by foreign journalists in Khankendi, the Armenian side uses terrorist tactics by placing firing points inside and near civilian targets. We call on civilians living in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan to stay away from military facilities. As noted by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has nothing to do with the Armenian civilian population. We are ready to provide all humanitarian assistance and support to civilians and servicemen wishing to cross to the Azerbaijani side.

The political and military leadership of Armenia bears full responsibility for the war and war crimes committed against civilians and military adventures.
