"Control measures have been strengthened in areas at risk of coronavirus infection."
The statement came from spokesman for the Baku Main Police Office, Major Elshad Hajiyev.
He said that strengthened control and preventive measures covering all districts of the capital are being continued:
"Our employees take regular measures in public transport, indoors, public catering facilities, in general, all places at risk of coronavirus infection."
Speaking about the situation with the curfew, Hajiyev said that appropriate measures are being taken during the day in connection with the martial law in the country as a whole:
"All necessary measures are taken by our employees. Within the curfew regime, which starts at 21:00 in the evening and lasts until 06:00 the next day, the free movement of individuals and legal entities is carried out on the basis of the relevant permit in accordance with existing rules and regulations (except for areas where activities are allowed).
Residents are asked to follow the rules. In general, everyone has a serious responsibility for both the pandemic and the martial law. The demands and recommendations of the police must be unconditionally followed so that our soldiers fighting the enemy on the front line do not fall behind. ”
