According to RIA Novosti, Russian President Vladimir Putin said this during a speech at a meeting of the Valday discussion club.
"It's a special situation for us. Yes, the group was formed in 1992. As co-chairs, Russia, France and the United States have the responsibility to organize the negotiation process. "I am one hundred percent sure that all participants in the process are sincerely trying to resolve the situation, but no one is more interested in this than Russia," Putin said.
According to him, "all this is happening" for the Russians.
"All this is happening not only before our eyes, but also with our people, friends and relatives," said the Russian leader.
