The European Union has removed Georgia from the list of safe countries

 Georgia has been removed from the EU's list of safe countries.

This was reported by Rustavi 2 TV channel.

Along with Georgia, Canada and Tunisia have been removed from the EU's list of safe countries due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation.

According to another amendment, nine non-EU countries - Australia, China, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, Thailand, Uruguay, South Korea and Japan - have been declared safe.
