The Central Bank has updated the security systems and design of 1, 5 and 50 manat banknotes with the application of the latest technologies and innovations within the existing concept.
According to the bank, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan announces the issuance of 1, 5 and 50 manat banknotes with updated design and advanced security systems from January 1, 2021.
Current 1, 5 and 50 manat banknotes will be in circulation in parallel with the renewed banknotes and will be used as a means of circulation without restrictions.
Thus, our updated banknotes will continue to remain in the class of the safest banknotes in international practice due to their artistic aesthetics and level of protection.
The latest security features in the updated 1, 5 and 50 manat banknotes are the RollingStar Lead hologram (moving in 3D effect, changing color), the miraculous Spark Live element (dynamic light-emitting and color-changing images), the watermark (light the banknote to light).
