The 112 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in the Shahdag National Park in Khanagah village of Guba region.
Fire departments of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, personnel of the Civil Defense Troops, employees of the Forestry Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources were involved in the firefighting.
According to preliminary information, about 5 hectares of dry grass and bushes are burning.
The area where the fire took place is located in a difficult terrain. Firefighting is underway.
