A large asteroid could hit Earth on November 3, the day before the US presidential election.
This was reported by American astrophysicist Neil Degrass Tyson, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the astrophysicist, the celestial body is now moving towards the Earth at a speed of more than 25,000 miles per hour.
However, the scientist is confident that the asteroid will not harm people on Earth or cause such dangerous consequences as to disrupt the US presidential election.
