The Secretary of State of the United States Michael Pompeo also touched upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in his speech on the "Eric Erickson Show" on WSB Atlanta today.
The Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued a statement on the issue.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the Azerbaijani side believes that the views of the US Secretary of State do not correspond to the numerous official statements made by the US Government on the conflict:
"These views also do not correspond to the status of the United States as one of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group."
