Azerbaijani flag waving in Hadrut - VIDEO

The liberation of Hadrut from occupation means the opening of the door to Karabakh. Hadrut is a residential center located at the end of the valley. With the seizure of control there, even the Malikjan Heights lose their significance for the Armenians.

It is possible to keep a number of villages in the Khojavend and Fizuli districts below Hadrut and the surrounding heights, including the Gozluchay gorge and the villages from Jabrayil to Fizuli, under the control of the Azerbaijani army.

Given that Hadrut is the administrative-territorial unit of Nagorno-Karabakh, we can say that the Azerbaijani army controls Nagorno-Karabakh.

It is no coincidence that the leader of the separatist regime, Araik Harutyunyan, also visited Hadrut and met with soldiers to raise the morale. For this reason, we can say that after losing such an important position, the Armenian armed forces are now depressed.

Hadrut settlement is also very favorable from the economic point of view. This settlement is rich in dense forests and rivers in terms of geographical relief. Before the occupation, these areas were resort areas, and tourists came to these areas in all seasons. In addition, agricultural experts say that the economic potential of Hadrut is great. If we look at the history, we can see that the Armenians moved there in the XIX century, and until then they have nothing to do with Hadrut.

It should be noted that Hadrut settlement is part of Khojavend region of Nagorno-Karabakh region. This settlement was occupied by the Armenian armed forces on October 2, 1992.
