Due to the increase in the dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic among the population, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers from 00.00 on October 14 to Sabirabad city, Javad, Turkedi, Galagayin and Kurkendi villages, Sheki city and Kish village operative and special purpose. Access is restricted, except for the movement of vehicles, as well as trucks.
The statement came from the press service of the Interior Ministry.
In connection with the implementation of the tasks arising from the decision, special quarantine posts were organized at the entrances and exits of the mentioned regional centers and villages, and police officers and servicemen of the Internal Troops were involved in the enhanced work regime.
All measures taken to prevent the spread of this dangerous virus are taken to ensure the safety of citizens and protect the health of every inhabitant of Azerbaijan.

We believe that our citizens, including the residents of Sabirabad and Sheki regions mentioned in the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, will understand the requirements and recommendations of the police officers supervising the quarantine regime, so that the virus does not spread widely and cause more dangerous complications among people in the future. They will strictly follow the rules and prohibitions. "
It should be noted that when analyzing the current sanitary-epidemiological situation in the country in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, unfortunately, in some areas of the country there was a significant increase in the dynamics of the virus among the population.
