Mandatory mask regime was applied in South Korea

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Korea, a mandatory mask regime has been applied on public transport and in public places in the country.

In addition, it is mandatory to wear a mask in medical institutions and preschools, regardless of social distance.

Violators will be fined up to 100,000 won (about 148 AZN), and facility owners will be fined 3 million won (about 4,444 AZN) for non-compliance.
