An elderly woman who was admitted to the hospital with a high fever and a severe cough tested positive for coronavirus. The patient remained in the hospital for five days, after which all symptoms except fatigue disappeared and he was released.
About two months later, the woman developed a fever again, and she also complained of coughing and shortness of breath. It was noted that the woman started a new course of chemotherapy two days before she felt unwell.
He was hospitalized.

The patient was found to be infected with the coronavirus again. On the eighth day, the woman's condition worsened, and she died two weeks later.

By comparing both tests, the researchers found that the genetic makeup of the virus was different. This confirms that the woman was re-infected with the coronavirus.
