Among those trying to help the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are ordinary citizens of brotherly Turkey.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim spoke about one of such people during his speech at the opening of the new school year of the Higher Military School of the Land Forces in Ankara.
The ambassador said that a person from Marash sent him a letter expressing his support and assistance. Along with the letter, the man sent a Turkish flag and an engagement ring.
He said he was very impressed by the story and wanted to return the ring, but said that he would not take back the gift from a Turkish citizen and that the decision was made by the family.
