President Donald Trump's silence on the conflict in the South Caucasus for several weeks has alarmed the Armenian community in the United States.
This was stated in an article published in The Hill.
The article mentions that a group of Armenian Americans gathered in front of the White House to protest Trump's silence, and spoke about the dissatisfaction of the protesters there:
"At least one tweet of Trump calling for reconciliation… and at the moment we are not even talking about supporting Armenia… Even this is not the case," said the protesters.
The article says that the US President has strengthened relations with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
