"We assess the Armenian provocation in Ganja as an act of crime and genocide."
The statement came from Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, at a briefing on the Armenian provocation in Ganja.
According to him, we call on the international community to respond adequately to these events:
"We think that the international community will appreciate these events and will not go unpunished."
He noted that on September 27, the Azerbaijani army launched a counterattack against the military provocation of the Armenian Armed Forces:
"Within 10 days, the main military infrastructure of the Armenians was destroyed. Thus, the alleged image of invincibility formed by the Armenians about themselves was shattered in a short time. As a result, they are purposefully targeting our civilian population. "
