Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov spoke about ineffective methods in the fight against excess weight on Russia 1 TV channel.

He gave an example of a cryolipolysis procedure in which certain areas of the body are exposed to a mass of cold air and have the effect of liposuction. He said the procedure was only suitable for those with local defects in the fat layer under the abdomen or thighs.
"Fat is an endocrine organ, and its function and biochemistry have not been fully studied. "During liposuction, the body's electrolyte balance is disturbed, which can lead to heart failure."
A. Myasnikov also spoke about the recently popular vacuum apparatus massages.
The expert noted that excess weight depends on hormones. He advised to increase physical activity and completely change the lifestyle in order to speed up the body's metabolism and "trick" the hormonal system.
