The Ministry of Education has been monitoring general education institutions operating in the country since September 23.
According to the Ministry, the purpose is to check the compliance of secondary schools with the requirements of the "Temporary Rules for the organization of the educational process in educational institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the special quarantine regime."
To date, a total of 91 schools have been monitored in Baku and Sumgayit, including 18 private and 73 public schools, as well as in the Absheron region (including IDP schools).
Analysis of the monitoring results shows that the main violations in the inspected schools are related to inadequate temperature measurement of entrants, lack of special quarantine rooms meeting the relevant standards, as well as placement of educational posters and warning signs in sanitary facilities.
Taking into account the number and severity of the violations, appropriate measures were taken against 67 public schools (51 heads were warned and 16 were reprimanded) and given time to rectify the deficiencies. monitoring is planned).
At the same time, the relevant government agencies were informed to take appropriate measures in relation to private educational institutions where violations were found.
The monitoring will be continued in the coming days and will be carried out in other schools located in other regions of the country and randomly selected.
