In an interview with Russia-1, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the fierce fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
He stressed that despite Armenia's membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Russia will not be able to intervene in the conflict militarily.
"We have certain obligations to Armenia within the CSTO agreement. The fighting continues to this day. However, these are not carried out in the territory of Armenia, "he said.
