It should be noted that some time ago, the beaches of Kamchatka were full of dead sea creatures. In addition, people bathing in the sea or in any form of contact with water experienced temporary blindness.
This situation caused a wide public resonance. The cause of the accident is believed to be pollution of the Pacific Ocean.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has taken control of the investigation of water pollution.
