MP: "Thinking of the Azerbaijani soldier today, we must not forget the threat of the coronavirus"

The threat of COVID-19 has not yet passed.
The statement came from Rashad Mahmudov, Deputy Chairman of the Health Committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament, APA reports.
He said that a vaccine for the disease has not been found yet:
"People are gathering today in great excitement to celebrate the work done by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the lands we have acquired. He thinks about how Azerbaijan will help 10 million people in the army. We observe cases of people giving blood, food to soldiers, carrying clothes. But we must not forget the danger of the coronavirus. We've heard the word COVID-19 so much that we're probably tired. But today we must also protect our soldiers from the severe consequences of this pandemic. In autumn, Azerbaijan's health is ready for a pandemic outbreak. But as a result, if we take a lot of patients to the hospital, our doctors on the front will be forced to return to these hospitals. You have to think about it.

Today, the issue of not being afraid of COVID-19 should not be on the agenda, it should not be a question of challenging the coronavirus. Let's be more careful today, thinking of the Azerbaijani soldier. Therefore, by following more than three simple rules (mask, social distance, hygienic cleanliness), let's reduce the probability of a pandemic situation to zero. This is one of the things we will do for the right path of the Azerbaijani soldier, the Azerbaijani army, and it is our greatest contribution to them. As a member of the operational staff, I ask the entire population of Azerbaijan to be careful about the coronavirus and follow the rules. Let the Azerbaijani soldier do it for our army. ”
