Japanese scientists have identified the most "dangerous" blood type. Studies show that people with the first blood type have a three-fold higher risk of dying from serious injuries.

According to experts, patients with the first blood group have a higher risk of blood loss. This is due to the low level of von Villebrand factor (glycoprotein in blood plasma) in this group (resulting in weakened coagulation).
It should be noted that although people with the first blood group are universal donors, they are only allowed to receive blood transfusions of their own groups.
